Our
Breeding Program:
The aim behind our breeding
program is to produce
the 'total package'
American Bulldog.
We believe this ‘total package’
should have:
A sound, forward and social
temperament,
Be very environmentally
confident,
Have a high level of drive and
a strong desire to ‘work’,
Have an innate tough and
stoical nature,
Be intelligent and trainable,
Be strong and athletic with
good wind,
Be healthy,
Have very good structure and
conformation.
Our breeding program is based on line breeding
around two dogs ...

who was a great producer of
working and conformation show
winning dogs, and was also a great dog
in his own right.
We had the pleasure of spending time with Koa on
a number of occasions,
and in our opinion, as well as being a very nice
dog in both
structure and conformation
he had an ideal blend of
high drive, confidence
and social character.

and was also a great producer
In order to embark on this program we imported
three dogs from the USA,
from our good friend
Greg Souza (Souza's American Bulldogs)
First to arrive was
Axel in 2001, with Joleen arriving later that same year,
with Betty finally
arriving in the UK in 2002.
Around the same time we also imported several batches of
frozen semen from
Koa and also several batches from his son
from a breeding with Dixie,
a dog who possessed
many of the great qualities that his parents did,
and
who was also a proven
producer of working and
conformation show winning dogs....

Thanks to Eric
Davis of Fullforce American Bulldogs in the USA,
we have more recently also imported frozen semen
from another great dog
possessing the characteristics and traits we are
looking for,
who has proved to be a superb example of his
particular bloodline,
descending from some
of the great proven producers not directly in our
current dogs lines, and also descending from both
Koa and Dixie via both his sire and dam

This semen when added to the dogs that we
imported,
the dogs we have since bred,
and in conjunction with our future plans
will
allow us to embark on a long
